Wiest Exhausts is the company that originated the Wiest Group. Founded in 1947 by Joao Wiest, it used to produce gases to cope with the lack of energy brought up by the Second World War. When the conflict ended, the vision that would later shape the company’s future trailed a new path: production of exhaust pipes to the vehicles fleet that was beginning to find its way around Brazil.

In these more than 57 years, Wiest has grown, embodied the most modern available technologies for its sector, and reached the leadership in the Brazilian market for exhaust pipes replacement.

Holder of ISO 9002 and ISO TS 16949 certifications, and having produced in its history more than 40 million exhaust pipes, Wiest is today a leader company in the auto parts segment in Brazil.

Besides the factory located in Jaragua do Sul, where the company was established, Wiest Escapamentos also has a Distribution Center in Sao Paulo.
